Living in my car is a great way to save money. It eliminates my biggest expense by far–housing. I don’t have any car payments or debt of any kind. I’ve decided to track every dollar I spend while living in a car in 2024. I’m curious to see how much I typically spend in a month. I’ve listed my expenses from the most to the least and rounded everything off in dollars.
I'm enjoying reading about your journey and I'm very sorry to hear that you hurt your back.
I'm curious about how you prepare your vegan meals. I'm a vegetarian but I often cook vegan meals and I have so many ingredients in my fridge and pantry....I can't even imagine how that works in a car.
Hi Pam, I'm mostly raw vegan right now. I don't cook in my car. If I do eat cooked food, it's at a restaurant, at work, or when I'm with family or friends. I do plan to buy a Coleman butane camping stove when I go on my cross-country road trip this summer. Cheers!
Thanks for the quick reply!
I hope that your back is better.
Good luck on your journey!
Pam
