Here’s a quick, easy, healthy sandwich I make while living out of my car. It’s my hummus sandwich with cucumber, carrot chips, and lettuce. I use hummus that doesn’t have any highly processed oils. The ingredients are chickpeas, tahini, lemon juice, and garlic. As for bread, I use either Ezekiel sprouted bread or Dave’s Powerseed bread. Most bread has refined sugar, usually cane sugar, as an added ingredient. Ezekiel sprouted breads have none. Dave’s Powerseed bread is also free of refined sugar and uses only one gram of fruit juice per serving. Taste-wise, I prefer Dave’s Powerseed bread.
